I have a "cron" job that checks for the existance of a certain file, and if the file is found, mails it to a group of users. This was working fine for some time. However I have been getting the following mail from root, starting about a couple of weeks ago. I hasten to add that this happens only intermittently. >Your "cron" job > >'/home/matta/samitha/post' > >produced the following output: > >rewrite: cannot prescan canonical hostname: >send: 18735 Memory fault Any ideas/comments/suggestions are extremetly welcome. Please be kind enough to email your responses to me since I do not read this newsgroup regularly. --Samitha Amarasiri +----------------------------------+------------------------+ |BITNET :samitha@ksuvm |KSU Computing Activities| |INTERNET:samitha@matt.ksu.ksu.ed |Cardwell Hall, Manhattan| |PHONE :(913) 532-6311 |KS 66505 | +----------------------------------+------------------------+
