Her name was Sweet Polly Purebread and she was a reporter.

     He was a shoeshine boy.

I believe his source was an energy pill in the secret compartment
	of his ring.

I quote:

"The secret compartment of my ring I fill
With an Underdog super energy pill!"

I think he said this every time he opened the ring and gobbled a pill.

Ah, yes. But I was under the impression that this wasn't the *source*
of his power, but an extra boost for when he was in trouble. He didn't
take the pill to change from shoe shine boy to underdog, after all.

Great show. Did they ever reveal the 'origin' of underdog?

I've got a good question:

Who did the voice of Underdog? Hint: Think about the game-show
                                           "Hollywood Squares"

As far as villains are concerned, does ANYONE remember the ghost-ship
episode? I know Riff-Raff was the main villain in this one, but he
had the service of many of Underdog's arch-enemies.

Wally Cox?

I don't know about Hollywood Squares, but Wally Cox did Underdog's voice.
