[comp.mail.sendmail] .forward file

mail guru's,

sorry if this is inappropriate here (if so, i apologize), but...

would any one of you know why a .forward file won't work for user A
but will for user B on the same machine?

we have a gateway, and outside mail gets forwarded to the user B's
workstation, but won't forward mail to user A's workstation.

both have a .forward file.  what gives?

i would prefer an e-mail response since i don't usually read this group.
(maybe i should start?)
