We will be losing our only working mail exchanger in two days and have come to realize we don't know how to setup another system to take its place. We would like each system on our Sun network to be able to send directly to other systems connected via TCP and use MX records when appropriate. 1) Do we need to have each system running sendmail.mx? 2) Do we need to do any special configuration in sendmail.cf to utilize the MX information? 3) What are the appropriate RFC's for this subject (if any), and are there any other sources for this information? Any and all e-mail responses would be greatly appreciated; we are really under the gun here. Send them directly to root@sol.csee.usf.edu. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ken Hughes (hughes@sol.csee.usf.edu) | "Which button do I press to turn FT-Ph D student, PT-ex-sysadm | it off?"
