[comp.mail.sendmail] Sending E-mail to the UK

abed@saturn.wustl.edu (Abed Hammoud) (11/29/90)

	Hello,

I am trying to send an E-mail to the UK. the address I have
is of the form username@machinename.ac.uk , I have not been
able to go through. I am wondering whether I need some
extension added to the above address since I am in the USA.

	appreciate any comments....

	thanks
	abed

It depends on how your machine routes to .ac.uk. Try the address:
      username%machinename.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk
