We are currently seeing some relatively odd behaviour from a SUN system running OS 4.1. We are testing some SUN X.400 software and have created some bogus domains to use for the testing. When I run the bogus addresses through sendmail using the "-bt" flag, Ruleset 0 shows exactly what I want it to show and after walking through the sendmail.cf file manually, the behaviour demonstrated by the "-bt" flag is exactly what should be going on. However, when I then run sendmail with the "-v" option and attempt to deliver a message, it forwards the message to our mailhost, rather than handing it off to the mhs mailer. I attempted to use the debug flags to see what's going on, but apparently SUN no longer gives much information when the debug flags "-d1-50.9" are turned on. Any ideas what gives? Anybody know what happened to the debug flags? Help would be appreciated. Please email replys and I'll summarize if we can figure it out. thanks. -- Ted Roberts | My opinions are not necessarily those EDS Technical Information Services | of my employer.
