Several people using Next systems had complained that they couldn't get mail through our site - they kept getting it returned with 'signal 0 exit 65', which indicates that rmail on our end got a data format error. Turns out that Next's mailer sends uucp mail with CR/LF at the end of each line, not just LF newlines. Our rmail, which has been hacked on, couldn't cope. Sendmail, of course, turns them into just LFs. But that's AFTER it's gone though rmail. I've fixed our rmail, but in case one of you out there has problems with incoming mail from a Next, you might see what happens to your mail receiver when it gets CR/LF at the end of the lines.
