Please excuse the obvious waste of bandwidth here. I would like to send mail to a friend who has a GEnie account. I have access to most mailing paths: uunet, etc. Can anyone tell me how this may be done? Of course, I do know their GEmail address. Thanks you, Mark

I do not think it is possible to send mail to GEnie accounts. I have an account on GEnie, and was imformed by GEnie customer Service that GEnie was a "closed" sysytem and that I could not send mail through BITNET. They indicated they felt this insured better security and privacy. (I felt it indicated greater inconvenience)
