Hi, This is the first time that I am working on sendmail (other that using it). Our development is on a SVR4.0 system and I am working on UCB sendmail 5.65. With few changes I can have sendmail working as long as it is NOT reading from a frozen configuration file. However, if it is made to read from a frozen configuration file it gives no error in the thaw() routine BUT later it causes other problems in malloc() etc. Since we have ELF executables, looking at the FROZEN code it looks as if it is for a.out format & would NOT work on ELF executables. I am sure there are people making it work on SVR4 machines. I would like to know if they had the same problem OR are we the only one? I guess it must be taking a big performance hit without reading the frozen config giles.
