Hi, We have a situation where much of our news and mail traffic is generated on an ULTRIX (BSD) box, but the modem to the outside world is attached a System V box. Can anyone tell me the correct sendmail cf file syntax to take a mail message initiated on the ULTRIX box and route it through uucp to the SV box (where it may get sent out)? In other words, if a user on the ULTRIX system mails to user@a.b.c, the mailer should send the message to svbox!a.b.c!user or use a compatible address. We've been trying several versions of what we find in the default config, but they all bomb in one way or another, and no one here can read cf rule syntax well enough to know what's going on. (Cliff Notes on the desired rules would be appreciated! :-]) Thanks in advance... ...uunet!uupsi!npri6!eric <<<<< Replies may require the absolute address. Eric C.
