I am trying to get sendmail to resolve mx addresses properly. Currently, I cannot get it to resolve addresses behind a domain gateway. For example, I want to send mail to foo.bigco.com. nslookup will find bigco.com, but not foo.bigco.com (unless I set querytype=mx). Apparently, sendmail is *not* doing this, but merrily tries to deliver mail to foo.bigco.com, which fails and ends up in my mailbox. I understand that there is a sendmail.mx version of sendmail that might help me, or perhaps some way to specify in the .cf file. True? ***************************************** ** REPLY TO cluther@sonne.cnns.unt.edu ******************* ** I will no longer be at supernet.haus.com after today ** ********************************************************** -- Clay Luther, Postmaster cluther@supernet.dallas.haus.com Harris Adacom Corporation cluther@enigma.dallas.haus.com Voice: 214/386-2356 MS 23, PO Box 809022, Dallas, Tx 75380-9022 Fax: 214/386-2159 Your mileage may vary.
