I'm interested to hear from anyone who has ported sendmail to a system with the EXCELAN TCP/IP. In particular the modifications which were necessary to "daemon.c" to enable sendmail to function across the "ether". Any information would be greatly appreciated. Cannot say I did it to sendmail, but I have done it to smail 3.1 for both the 3.1.17/18/91.1 releases and the newer smail 3.1.21.1 release. Have been useing it for years as a drop in sendmail replacement, albiet, its not sendmail. -- ===================================================================== Sydney S. We run it here. Its basically a matter of just changing all the socket calls
to do what Excelan wants as opposed to normal 4.3 sockets. I have done stock
sendmail, I have not yet attacked IDA.
I guess I could send you diffs. Why don't you send me mail...
