I'm looking at the possibility of setting up a system of machines with an overlaying domain structure that demands domains overlapping some of the hosts. The situation is this, say there is fred@dom1 and bert@dom2 on machine1. On machine2 is bert@dom1. When fred mails bert, he should be identified as belonging to the domain dom1 and his mail should go to bert on machine2, right? My question is how do you accomplish this? It seems that the cf file on a machine dictates what domain the machine is in and I can't see a way to overlap the domains at the moment. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how it is done please?
