[comp.binaries.apple2] core wars wanted !!!

hi ppl !

i've read about a game called core wars in scientific american.
unfortunately there was no precise reference how to get a version
for the apple //. they only said that such thing exists and that
it was written by Robert Periano of George Mason Uni, Farifax, VA.
of course i now want to know where i can get hold of that one !

any information would be appreciated !!

I wrote core wars in PASCAL when I was a senior in high school. It's under
Apple Pascal 1.3, but it shouldn't be hard to convert to whatever you've
got. I can post a SOURCE in a few days.

It's slightly more advanced than a bare-bones version in that it allows
you to reference addresses by a label. Also, execution of your program
unconditionally begins at the label called START. Pretty neat stuff.
