A long time ago someone posted part of a song that was supposedly the Warner Brother's "Looney-Tunes/Merrie Melodies" theme, and asked for the rest of it. The song was sung by Daffy Duck at the beginning of "Boobs in the Woods", a Robert McKimson feature with Daffy and Porky Pig. I believe that the WB theme is actually an old song called "The Merry-go-round Broke Down," a preexisting song that they appropriated for the beginnings of their cartoons, and that in several cartoons various lyrics are put to the music by different characters that have nothing to do with the song's actual lyrics (does it have any? I don't know). Anyway, Daffy's lyrics are as follows: "Oh people call me Daffy, They think that I am goony, Just because I'm happy, Is no sign I'm looney-tooney! Oh when they say I'm nutsy, (could be "nothing" -SS.) It sure gives me a pain, Please pass the ketchup, I think it's going to rain! Oh you can't bounce a meatball, Try as though you might, Turn on the radio, I want to fly a kite! Good eve-ning friends!" -Steve Shiue "If you don't cut that out, I'll put your tail in the pencil sharpener." -Porky Pig
