This is version 1.1 of my clock cda. Text Time, while turnned on, puts a clock (HH:MM:SS) in the upper right corner of the text screen. What makes this text screen clock better than the others? This one will display in either inverse or normal video depending on what currently is on the screen. Shows up properly on both 80 and 40 columns (there's one out there that doesn't!). If you like using mixed graphics/text modes, the time will move down the screen so it will still be visuable. Changes I made from the previous version include: faster screen updates and as show above, includes seconds. Download this message, unpack with binscii and then again with shrinkit. Put the resulting file in the system/desk.accs subdirectory. Reboot and enjoy! Do note that this is only for the text screen and thus you won't see it while at the desktop. Now to get a little technical for those who want to know more. If you would want to have the clock boot up defaulting to being off instead on on, just use a block editor and change the string. The program will notice the change and will respond properly. The program uses the one second interupt to read the clock and the quarter second interupt to display it. I didn't use the vertical blanking interupt because I don't think a clock needs that much of the cpu time, even though it is still a very small amount. Call me picky. I welcome any comments, suggestions, complaints, and bug reports. Hopefully none of the last. And now, here comes the file. --- FiLeStArTfIlEsTaRt ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789() MTEXT.TIME.SHK AIA6AAAACA(4DIAgzSJAUGgCBowsAIA6AskG GVvTlzW6BYrJAAAABoAALMRWAAAAZFgCAswEAEAAAAA4AKAAoDAAAAgAAAAAAAAA GVvTu3F2AAAQAEAABAAAA8CAAAw4AkLAAAAAAAAAAAgAZZBLAsgEHAAATkFAAAwC BoAALMRWAAAAAAAAJAAAFRFAuQFWNlEVAIQRAAgAAAAAAMwNC8FA2AAAbDAMBMQO BYrAuAAMAAAAQQhHggAMHAEgQEgDAEAYtBICIbCIQj3KyUZAAiOemKJodkRT46NI CFbAcAIoIGkLiOQy0wJi0A0YGMcq2sRz4KMbiNQIVJZ0AoRrALISlOCSYY9qAUYX D27DQHwVABwqIAI1G6gImd40yNSXNyBA1o80x1zKAdQXgsACsuFnCKuDWvUFAQIb EAijXfJoAMY7KeuXVtav66lg2s8Y2fpAtO2WF3KWXwVVgpaRNpBAKCLA4GonTDyI aA4Ihph8ASEMOAiBXehBWzlIDUifUgLG17xvKdvB3IV6gRA8D3Ae4WY7XDyDb4pX aDIg8AQq7KuOkEM(LVJyOUQTUIdCQBGwhUPaWFYfrINHhUKaWJYPPI9G8XLWEgKK gHCRArflICegro9VXRI8AACR(TAn5SOaA4DXnXIoBnhPgRUQCBIcUHzClxBMgGIE W7PHDUKeUGyBdBIEwnqe(AgQBBc8YCSZEU0BgNYfIkTQCFnacGTGOAygSSSPHNiR EHPLp5V5Ig8IRN4nc)UyHhAIreZHAAwRgnAqB8SOAaCislsCAwkRlxMytJTTNPZO 5l1LUt88TTC5DtDFRO1408LP58EhDwH(KDAUMOF4497QAAwcAhAOFITKAMDeB4Pe HxMYgFw5zek00AQAB0nMyQDY1FxdgBgTzCUAt5ieVVdxAHwTJJjMyAYAB8gMYBD4 EHS4IDw1AMA9cjcw)C4ACSPyvYjNZJe3AsqMy0CYAAQprJTLVTH8ty7FRH95zDmc AcQ0AmAaiRwf219dX1X4pfnXdddjvAQZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AACc -- ____ Y_,_|[]| Eric Mulholland {|_|_|__| aj0@sage.cc.purdue.edu //oo--OO ...!pur-ee!sage.cc!aj0
