The yeas outnumber the nays so I will resume posting the trivia fact of the day. Saturday February 15: 1903 The first Teddy Bear was introduced in America! It was made by Morris and Rose Michtom, immigrants from Russia, where stuffed toy bears were already a tradition. Sunday, February 16: 1607 The neighborhood children taunted Archdeacon John Sprat of St. David's Church, London, and his wife: "Jack Spratt could eat no fat, His wife could eat no lean! And so betwixt them both, you see, They licked the platter clean!" Monday, February 17: 1876 The first sardine was canned - at Eastport, Maine, by Julius Wolff of the Wolff and Ressing Cannery.

Being new to this newsgroup I imagine this piece of trivia has been incir- culation before, but perhaps for some they haven't heard the ultimate trivia question. This for the uninformed is a question from trivial pursuits Genius edition which leads one to believe that TP was invented but feminists (NPI). What does a spermologist collect. Trivia. (Uninformed feminists might then reply "same difference")
