"Davy Jones... greatest tambourine player of all time, right?!" -- Unidentified stand-up comedian seen through a haze of gin & tonics. Lately I've started thinking more and more about this. Could Davy really be the mark to which all other tambourinists aspire? What about Ringo? Tracy Partridge? Jeff "Mono Man" Connaly (from The Lyres)?
