OK, for y`all who wuz hollerin' about wanting a uudecode program
for the II GS, I just took the "roll your own" uudecoder source from
the Waite Group's UNIX COMMUNICATIONS (truly a book for all seasons),
added some stuff to make it into a stand-alone deal, added the TextEdit
tool calls recommended for inclusion in text mode C programs, and tossed
it in the ol' ORCA/C oven. Below is what popped out, archived and Binsciid,
along with the source code as adjusted for use on the II GS.

Maybe someone who cares to can run a properly altered version through
Hyper C for the 8-bit guys: I'm not using Hyper-C; maybe I'll check it out,
but it'll take getting used to non-ANSIness after cutting my teeth on ORCA.

Anyway, for the 16-bit people anyway, here it is.
