I just recently got a modem for my GS, though I've had access to Usenet at work, anyway, I want to download stuff from here and FTP sites. I can download fine, but I don't know how to process the file so that it is useable. I notice that all the files are encoded with Binscii and Shrinkit. I have GS Shrinkit, do I need both to decode these things? Just what is the process to get these to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. bob

In-Reply-To: message from rjd@alpha.sunquest.com Well... yes, you kneed BOTH ShrinkIt & BinSCII. Here are the steps below: 1. if the file is in mutiple parts string them together useing a word-processer of some sort. 2. Un-BinSCII the file. 3. UnShrink the file. BTW I usually UnShrink the docs FIRST, read them and decide wether or not to UnShrink the other stuff.
