Wouldn't it be nice if filenames were useful on certain ftp sites... such as prgramname.gs.bsq <-- implies it's for a gs whereas prgramname.bsq <-- any apple will do I've just spent a little it of time transferring some files, only to find that my meager //e won't cut it. Just a thought, so that other people might not waste several hours. btw, i notice that some filenames already include somesort of 'gs' to denote computer type, needless to say I didn't download these. thanks is advance to all those would be uploaders Calum A. That's how tybalt and wuarchives does it. You will probably see a bunch of directories in the apple2 directory, one of them being GS. The rest of the directories (Lang, Shell, Games, Util) are for the 8-bits. -- Brian T.
