A suggestion on converting 8080 mnemonics to Z80. If one had a Z80 disassembler--particularly one of those which enables one to define labels--one could subject the 8080 *.com* file to the disassembler. Since 8080 is a proper subset of Z80, the conversion would be complete. The V-COM disassembler by CompuView (Ann Arbor, 48103) looks (in their ads) as if it would do the job. However, I have not tried it.

b We (Small System Design, P.O. box 4546 Manchester N.H. 03108) have an editor whose distribution disc includes editor macros to convert 8080 source code to Z80 source code. Runs on a Z80, CP/M.
