A corporate membership on a committee costs $150/year and allows one representative and one alternate to be specified (additional alternates cost extra). There is also an "individual" membership rate, for people representing themselves rather than a company (and I think it's possible to get it waived under certain circumstances), and an "observer" membership, which allows attendance and receipt of committee mailings, but not voting rights. In order to vote in the committee, a member must be paid up and have attended at least two of the previous three committee meetings.
