I am planning to write a TeX driver for my Toshiba P351 printer (unless someone sends me one!), and am in need of information about the printer's downloadable font capability. I have both the regular manual and the technical reference, both of which provide insufficient information. Any help understanding the process of downloading fonts would be helpful. Code examples would be great, but not necessary if explanations are clear. -- I don't have a .signature.

These use only the bit graphics mode of the P351. I'm not sure that the memory available on the P351 is enough to make it worthwhile downloading fonts. One has to also worry about precise placement of the individual characters on the page, so I'm not sure the 351 could handle that without a lot of movement about the page.
