[comp.fonts] BORLAND'S FONTS

einari@rhi.hi.is (Einar Indridason) (04/19/88)

Hey you folks. You know about those BORLAND product: TURBO-C Ver. 1.5 AND
TURBO-PASCAL Ver. 4.0

DO you know what they have in common ? They have a new set of graphics
routines. And included in those fine products are a fine set of FONTS !!!!!

BUT, and this is a great BUT: I need to know the layout of those "stroked"
fonts.

How are those fonts build up ?
Are they encoded as: x step up (or down) and y step right (or left)
Or are they encoded as: starting at X-angle and draw radius with length Y

I do not need info on "how to program EGA, CGA, Hercules or whatever screen
card".

I just need to know how to change those fonts, because here in Iceland, we
have more characters than is in standard ASCII.

If anybody has any info about those fonts I would like to hear from you.

Thanks for your responce
