[comp.fonts] ISO format for NCR laser printer

I have a NCR 6416 laser printer.  It uses, among other things, and ISO format
for doing printer set-up.  I am interested in being able to down-load fonts
to the printer.  Does anyone out there have any experience/expertise with this?
