I'm something of a novice here, but I have a question. I use
primarily eqn (because I like refer, etc.) but may start using
TeX. In any case, I'm thinking of typesetting my dissertation
and the a few papers on Unix. This presents a few special problems:
for example, I work in modular forms, so it would be really NICE
to be able to get a script capital H and a script capital O. I
have access to an Apple Laserwriter Plus and use troff. Secondly,
(lower case) gothic would be very nice as there are several Lie
algebras involved. I've found constructs like
$fat italics { s l } sub 2$ to be reasonably good alternatives, but
not really ideal. Can anyone help me out? Oh yes, and respond by
e-mail if you can.
