I am interested in fonts used to print mathematics and logic. Do you know where I might find PostScript outline or METAFONT descriptions for any alphabets in {Script, German, Hebrew, Blackboard Boldface}, for sale or free? Blackboard Boldface characters are used to represent number systems. Actually, I think the American Mathematical Society suggests ordinary bold type instead. (Yes, I am one who loves to denote category of variable value by alphabet. Distinguishing type styles in handwriting is quite challenging.) By the way, is it legal to build and use a PostScript font from commercially printed material using an outline-tracing tool? Is Fontographer such a tool, and if so then about how long does it take to produce a good PostScript font from scanned examples of type using Fontographer? (Any other such tools?) Thanks, and sorry if previous postings answer my questions. Is there an Internet archive for old comp.fonts postings and possibly free fonts also? Gary
