While raster devices have pretty well taken over the world of hard copy
output, a simple multi-pen plotter still is the only reasonably priced
solution I've seen for making color overhead transparencies.
I'm wondering if anybody has played around with converting Bitstream
outlines or fonts for use on HPGL (or other) pen plotters. I'd rather
be able to use these fonts than write extra code for Hershey fonts,
since just about everything else available today is solidly in the
raster camp.
Any ideas? Any solutions? Anybody else interested?
Pete
