[comp.fonts] "Real" fonts from X11R3

nelson@sun.soe.clarkson.edu (Russ Nelson) (02/22/89)

The Adobe fonts from X11R3 are very good. They have a Helvetica, Times,
Courier, and New Century Schoolbook. So is the Bitstream Charter. They all
come in a variety of weights and sizes. Most are for 75 dpi, but some are
for 100 dpi.

These fonts can be found in ASCII format .bdf files in the X11R3 distribution.
There is a file called bdf.ps that describes the .bdf format.
