Can anyone give some suggestions: we're trying to do linguistic
word processing on an XT clone w/Hercules RamFont card and an H-P
LaserJet (series II w/2 M card). Would like to find
1) font(s) with International Phonetic Alphabet characters
for the LJ;
2) ideas/recommendations/experiences on different word
processing packages and how well they deal with
non-standard characters;
3) programs for manipulating HP softfonts (character editor,
font manipulator, font downloader).
As ever, public domain is preferable, source code is fine, prefer
less expensive to more expensive commercial software, but quality
is always appreciated :-}
