I would like to know if it is possible to get troff -ms default fonts in Latex. I like the font, but latex is muh easier to use. What is the font called ? I might try to use Metafont for that. Perhaps this is more appropriate in comp.text, but I received no response in spite of posting this twice on that group. So I thought maybe people here could help. Thanks Aamod Sane sane@cs.uiuc.edu

So I thought maybe people |here could help. You might get more answers if you gave more information about your system, like what printer you have. The best answer I can give now is: it depends on how your software is set up. For instance, on our PS printers, we have a printer driver that understands the names of the Adobe fonts and a set of style files to substitute those fonts for the LaTeX defaults. If I wanted the "troff" fonts, I would say \documentstyle[times,...]{...}
