[comp.fonts] "Klingon" font

aragon@clotho.acm.rpi.edu (Greg Pratt) (07/18/90)

I recently came across a Macontosh font called "Klingon," available in both
24- and 48-point versions. As I own an Amiga, I had a friend churn out the
characters and their specs for me, as I wanted to hand-transcribe them into
an Amiga font editor.

When I looked at the characters, I thought they were pretty cool-looking,
but definitely NOT Klingon language characters (I probably watch too much
Star Trek...). Does anyone know where these characters came from? They
aren't Klingon, but in their own right, they look pretty funky.

As long as I am on the subject... does anyone know where I can get documen-
tation on the Klingon alphabet, enough to make a REAL font?

Thanks,
