I'm looking for a utility that will let me create font (.chr) files for Borland's BGI (device independent graphics on the PC/PS/2 with Turbo Pascal/C/C++/Prolog/Assembler). I'm surprised that such a program isn't available from Borland Intl. (Hint to anyone from that company who many be listening), but as far as I know it isn't. I know it's hard to create vector fonts, and even harder to create good ones with a consistant style, but I'm not afraid of hard work :-), and the handful of fonts which come with the compiler just aren't enough. Or, if no such utilities exist, then information on the format of BGI .chr files would be appreciated, and I could try to roll my own. Reply to me, I'll summarize to the net.
