[net.micro] c crosscompiler for 68K

Sorry to inflict this on the whole group, but mail couldn't get
through to decvax!cca!BILLW@Sri-Kl@sri-unix
Subject: Re: Host based micro sw dev environments

MIT has done up the portable C compiler for the 8086 and the 68000.
There is a good portion of an MSDOS library for the 8086 version
(maybe there is even more now). The 68000 cross compiler is what
Stanford is using for software development on the SUN processor.
You need a unix license for these, contatct Chris Terman (CJT) at MIT
	for more details.

Gene: TSC at SRI has versions of this software running on their
		VLSI vax (SRI-JOYCE). See /usr/src/cmd/c68000, and/or
probably talk to Gus Roemers about an account.

Could anyone provide a net address for Roemers or whomever I might talk to
about getting this software from, please?

Thanks,

Gus's Arpanet address is roemers@sri-tscb. One UUCP address for him
is ucbvax!menlo70!sri-unix!roemers. He might also have a UUCP address
on one of the TSC machines, but I don't know the full path right now.
I would have replied to you personally, but notes requires that
the mail software figure out path names and ours doesn't.
