You can tell the man to shut up or to die or to play in the freeway and he still doesn't get the hint. Well Doug, let me spell it out for you (in capitals): SHUT UP ABOUT KATE BUSH..... WE HAVE HEARD ENOUGH !!!!!! It's really amazing to type '/kate/j' and just watch the numbers race across the screen but I'm getting sick of doing this. Not to mention that discussions that I do want to read get lost in the Bush traffic and after awhile I get sick of trying to sort out articles that are and are not about Kate especially articles with headers not including her name. Unfortunately this eludes my '/kate/j' and I am still left with the dillemma of k-after-k of Kate. In conclusion Doug, please post occasionally about kate ( ie; > 2 weeks ) or don't post at all. I AGREE!!!!!!!!!
I have heard enough about Kate Bush to make me puke. Yes, she is good,
but enough is enough. Come on, go create your KB mailing list, where you
can post all words ever printed about Kate, including her birth announcement,
any letters to the editor, her old term papers (presuming she wrote any),
etc., etc., etc, ......etc.
Enough already!!!!!
Doug, grow up! Not all of us give her demigoddess status like you do. Give
us all a break. A very large one. And I won't listen to your flames, either,
so there. THBBBBBBBBB!
If I could find the lyrics to the song in Blazing Saddles "I'm Tired", I
would gladly adapt them to this situation. Anyone else care to do it?
As if net.music weren't enough, guess who started posting to net.women
about why KB is a great role model for women! (Madonna is not, in my opinion,
btw)

There. Now, will you listen to the rest of this? 2) How can we treat you seriously when all you do is pick on some minor subtopic of the jist of the conversation? I can't wait to read about how I misspelled something in this. Better yet, tell me where I show that you're such a jerk. It's too late, you've already done that above (taken verbatim, for your info). 3) I like Kate Bush, but I just don't like to find that 3/4 of the net.music messages relate to KB. 4) There is no point 4 5) Some people don't like KB, and there's nothing you can do to change that. Bear with me during the following psuedo-analogy: Suppose you hate Tibetan goat cheese-making music for some specific reason. How much pro cheese-making material do you want to read? Not much. I say the same is true for the KB discussion, and I think a lot of people have reached the KB saturation point. 6) Notice that this is not just name-calling. Yes, there is some, but I try to put some intelligence behind it (what's that Doug, I didn't? Oh, oh well. I'm sure you'll tell me). 7) Just to provide you with evidence of what a fool I must be, let me tell you some of the groups I quite like: B-52s, DEVO, Laurie Anderson, REM, 'til Tuesday, {Emerson, Lake and Palmer}, Tomita, Vangelis, Beatles, Ramones, Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, and Gary Numan. Go ahead, Doug (or anyone else). Run your spelling/grammar checkers on this. Find fault with what I have to say. Show the whole net what you're made of. And I won't listen to your flames, either, Just thought I'd chime in incase the message wasn't clear, After all maybe they should create a net.kb or net.doug or net.idolworship like net.synth or net.deadheads ( :-) ). Maybe if everyone who is sick of hearing what Kate Bush is wearing/saying today would reply to this and fill up the net, maybe ol' Doug's finger will break trying to avoid all our articles, or he'll be incapacitated from exhaustion trying to respond to all our articles...:-) I like to use the net to hear what people have to say about all kinds of music whether I like them or not, sometimes things people write make me interested in a group by shedding new light on their songs/lyrics, or an undiscovered group that someone posts an article about.. not just why KB wrote a song, why KB wrotea better song than XY or why all people with real taste should listen to KB,or the philosophical implications of KB's consumption of 'Wheaties'* before writingor performing song 'xyz' etc, etc, ad nauseum. Let's give it a rest and let the rest of the music world have a chance on net.music i.e. reviews, concert info, new releases, discussions of lyrics, recording/musical technique, and letslimit the mud slinging, name calling and musician XY is better than 'musician' AB who sleeps with her shoes on and therefore has no soul...... Enough said. * 'Wheaties' is probably a registered tm and is no way related to KB, or the author, and is in no way being slandered or misrepresented in this article in any way, it was used simply because author had that for breakfast.......
