I am trying to create a font using a bdf file. I was told that I need to convert the bdf file to either snf or pcf file using bdftosnf or bdftopcf respectively. Then feed this file to mkfontdir to get the required font. My problem is I do not have any of these utilities her at SDRC. I am ver grateful if you could tell me where I can find these programs. Thank you in advance. Sisira Jayasinghe. Sr. Technical Developement Engineer uunet!sdrc!cae19!spsisira Structural Dynamics Research Coorporation spsisira@sdrc.UUCP 2000 Eastman Dr. Milford OH 45150

If you do not have X windows, then snf/pcf are not what you want to convert the font to. If you let us know what you *do* have and what you are trying to convert the font to (PostScript, TeX, some other windowing system?), then somebody here may be able to tell you what to use to convert it. -- -- Brian, the Man from Babble-on. bts@unx.sas.com -- (Brian Schellenberger) "And when the votes were cast, the winner was . . .
