[net.micro] Nominally adaptive users

Why shouldn't folks complain about the poor keyboard layout on the IBM PC?
The simple fact is, it's inconvenient to use because IBM designed its
keyboard with a non-standard layout. IBM or not, I think it's important
that computer companies get the message that the burden of adaptability
in the face of inconvenience lies not with the user, but with the
designers that created the inconvenience in the first place. Blind loyalty
as shown by the recent article from someone at rabbit telling us to
"like the IBM PC keyboard or lump it, but stop complaining about it"
is dead wrong. If something sucks, it should be rejected.
