[comp.fonts] Info on CFFF format for fonts

billy@castle.ed.ac.uk (Billy Taylor) (02/08/91)

Hi,
Have any of you folks ever heard of the above format? I think it might have
something to do with VAXes in particular.

All information (via e-mail preferably) gratefully accepted!

Thanks,
Billy.

Not for "VAXes" in particular but it is for Digital laser printers.

CFFF stands for "Common Font File Format" and is Digital's font file format for
it's (old) LN03 and (new) DEClaser 2000 ANSI-compliant desktop laser printers
and compatible software. It is described in the Digital publication "Font File
Format Users Manual" (EK-CFFFM-UG-002).
