[comp.fonts] compressing on an HP LaserJet

The default courier font available with all HP LaserJet IIs is incapable of 
compressing down to 16.66 cpi.  The smallest compression available is 12 cpi. 

Try using the provided font "line printer."  I believe it is 16.66 cpi.
