[comp.fonts] Font Archives

noel@ubbs-nh.MV.COM (N. Del More) (03/23/91)

I would like to recieve any information readers may have concerning the
existence of archive sites for fonts. Mail servers or those with uucp
access are preferred as I don't have FTP access.

I am using the Adobe Type Manager, so info on fonts suitable for use with
that package would be appreciated .

Thanks!
Noel

Most of the fonts available seem to be for 1:mac or 2:type 3 format for
use other than with ATM (which uses type 1 fonts).

Does anyone know how to convert between the various formats?
