Two comments. First, stay away from the Novation as it is 202 (half duplex), not 212 compatible. Most systems do not support 202's, and those that do are trying to get away from them. Second, There has been a lot of discussion lately on auto-dial modems in the net newsgroups. We at NCECS are recommending Penril for the users in North Carolina due to the very favorable pricing. Other users may also find the price/performance attractive. For further info, see newsgroups ecsnet.comm (ECS users) or net.dcom (network users).
