I saw two Adobe fonts (printer's fonts for Mac) named Aplga and Cheq in my office. I could not view them because no equivalent screen fonts available. Can someone tell me their screen fonts names. If I cannot find their screen fonts, is there a way to use them for printing or ATM? Thanks in advance. Peter Liu cliu@copper.ucs.indiana.edu

Cheq is the chess font which newspaper have used since god knows when (I saw a stack of california cases full of the chess font in metal down in our library basement) for setting those interesting & bizarre Chess columns.

Aplga is Apple's own version of Garamond. It is, for the most part, a condensed version of ITC Garamond with extremely tight kerning. To look at Apple Garamond, simply just look at any Apple ad, or product name: all of these are Aplga or variations on it. Willie Rauchwerger Internet wirauchw@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu AppleLink ST0763
