I just got Pagemaker 4.0 today. As y'all know, ATM is
included, along with GillSans and TimesNewRoman. Also
included is an offer to buy one of a list of fonts for
$49. One of these fonts is Minion (and, I think, Garamond
is also listed). Meanwhile, there is an offer in Font &
Function whereby buying one of the Adobe Originals
packages (Garamond, Caslon, Minion, or Utopia) entitles
the buyer to the corresponding "Expert Collection" for
FREE. After looking through all of the fine print, I
called Adobe to ask how to take advantage of these offers.
The salesperson said that they hadn't intended for it to
work out that way, but that they would honor their offers,
and all I had to do was write on the $49 order form that
I was taking advantage of special offer number 1 for the
expert collection, as mentioned in Font & Function.
Seems reasonable to me, $370 font plus $275 expert collection
for $49 :-)
