Ok. The system: Mac Classic, Personal Laserwriter NT. Lots of INITs and CDEVs, but no Adobe Type Manager. Using Suitcase 1.2.8. I try to install TrueType and fonts. Quickly find out I need Font/DA mover 4.1 and Suitcase 1.2.9. After much searching, I get them. Install it. Start up MS Word 4.00B. Looks great. Yeah, slow as hell, but it looks good. OK, let's try to print. <wait> <wait> <wait> "Creating bitmap font <etc...>" <wait> Basically, the laserwriter (or *something*) comes back with a PostScript error, a "VM error" VM? WHAT? "The file is OK, but it cannot be printed." Well, gee, thanks. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to correct it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pete Berger || ARPA: peterb@cs.cmu.edu Professional Student || Pete.Berger@andrew.cmu.edu Univ.
