I be new here so this may be an old question, but ... Some of us in my shop use NeXT computers. The fonts we use in WriteNow, FrameMaker, and most programs are provided by Adobe. To get new fonts we send away money to get Type 1 files to install. We also have TeX and Metafont running on the machines. There are lots of good fonts in Metafont form - the Computer Modern series I find pleasing. So much so that I wish I could use them in WriteNow, FrameMaker, et.al. I am only a novice TeX user and do not desire to do my work using TeX instead of WriteNow. Questions: Is there a program that translates Metafont files into Type 1 files? If the program exists, where is it and how do I get it? Or, has someone produced Type 1 Computer Modern files that I can install on the NeXT? Thanks in advance, Mark T. Thomsen
