Hi, I'm writing on behalf of a student of mine who wishes to produce troff output in the Tamil font. Can anybody send me pointers to a) A free font suitible for troff. b) Software for designing troff compatible fonts. We would prefer to spend no money, though a little effort is no trouble. -- Steve Holmes # Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection craa27@uk.ac.strath.vaxa # Send my credentials to the house of correction Strathclyde University # I've got some friends inside ... 041 423 0751 X 3576 #

If you don't turn up anything for troff, you could use TeX. There is a public domain Tamil font in METAFONT available from Univ. of Washington.
