[] Soon I'm going to invest in URW's Ikarus package for the Mac (including the digitizer). I think. Are there any Ikarus users out there who feel there are any 'caveats' I should know, before I fork over four digits' worth of money? Is there literature on their font format like there is for Type-I and TrueType fonts? If not, is there a _any_ description of Ikarus in the literature? There's a very nice book about the Ikarus system: Peter Karow, "Digital Formats for Typefaces", URW Verlag, Hamburg, 1987. ISBN 3-926515-01-5. There is a basic overview of digital type format concepts in the beginning 100 or so pages, and great detail about Ikarus for the rest of the text.
