I am in the process of understanding the role of the Post Script printer in the unix environment. Some of the questions I have are: How are users geting Post Script fonts into the unix environment? <who is selling Type 1 fonts to unix boxes?> Once in the Unix environment how are users getting these fonts to their Post Script printers. I know how to hack this method, I'm more interested in how an end user achieves this. <products, methods, etc...> If there are any products which do this <Frame Maker, Island etc.> please let me know which products and how they do this. Also, if you have any ideas of a user friendly method, to achieve this goal, I would be very interested in hearing it/them. Thank-you for your help and time.
