I'm trying to write a graphic interface for a layout-program, using
A/UX Toolbox (A/UX 1.0 International version, Mac II videocard with
expansion kit).
My problem is that I can't get any colors. Everything is black or
white. And I'm not shure if the bugs are in the toolbox or in my
brain...
I've found out that A/UX Toolbox doesn't support the Color Manager,
and as the Color Manager does the conversion from RGB to pixel values,
I suppose that's why functions like "RGBForeColor" doesn't work.
Is it possible to draw in colors with A/UX Toolbox, and in that case
how. (Do the inverse table lookup manualy?)
Will the Color Manager be implemented in later versions of A/UX?

The good news is that it is fully supported in A/UX 1.1. As usual, don't ask me when 1.1 will ship because I'm not allowed to say. Rick Daley rpd@apple.COM
